Design Commission Special Hybrid meeting

April 3 - Notice is hereby given that the Design Commission will hold a Special Meeting on May 16, 2024, at 6:00 pm to discuss two requests for Design Commission Design Review (DSR). DSR24-001 is a request by Islandian Condominiums HOA to paint and replace siding, install new windows, exterior sliding glass doors, and exterior storage room doors. It also includes the demolition of all unit deck railings and an installation of new glass railings. DSR24-002 is a request to repair and remediate the Monaco Villa Condominiums. The scope includes the removal of all damaged and failing existing siding at the north, east, and south elevations. The architectural massing would also be improved as part of the repair.

The public hearing will be held in person and using Zoom. The public will have the opportunity to comment during the public hearing by either attending in person, calling in, or logging onto the meeting via Zoom. Written comments may be submitted to the City of Mercer Island by e-mail until such time that the public hearing is adjourned.
