Emergency Prep & MIRO Field Day

Join Emergency Management volunteers and staff for Emergency Preparedness and Field Day on Saturday, June 22 from 10am - 3pm at Mercerdale Park.

Volunteers and staff will be available to provide information on emergency preparedness, types of hazards likely to affect Mercer Island and the Puget Sound, and more. 

Mercer Island Radio Operators (MIRO) will be on-hand to share information about how ham radio operators will help keep communications going during a disaster. You'll even get to see them in action!

We have resources to help get you started as well as ideas to take your emergency preparedness to the next level. We can't wait to see you!
