Membership

Seven residents comprise the board which is staffed by the Finance and Public Works Departments. Members are appointed by the City Council to four year terms running June 1-May 31. A City Councilmember also serves as liaison to the group.

Utility Board members should have an interest in City-operated utilities as well as private utilities. Some understanding of rate setting, utility infrastructure or administration is desirable.
