Our building team consists of the Building Official, Building Plans Examiners, and Building Inspectors reviewing construction projects for compliance with adopted building, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, energy, and accessibility codes. Our experienced staff includes licenses/degrees/certifications in engineering, architecture, electrical journeyman, building, mechanical, and plumbing fields.

Simple Residential Projects - OTC

At this time, OTC's in person are temporarily suspended until City Hall reopens. Simple Residential Building Permits can be submitted electronically for express routing. To submit your application, follow the steps below. Labeling your project folder with the acronym "OTC" will help ensure express routing.

Each permit type administered by Community Planning and Development will have a threshold for when a permit is required. The threshold for when a building permit is required can be complicated, so feel free to reach out to staff for your specific situation.
