2-DAY COMMUNITY BLOOD DRIVE - BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

·October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Approximately 25% of our local blood supply supports cancer patients. Blood transfusions are a vital part of treatment and recovery by helping to repair and replace blood cells damaged by chemotherapy. 

The City of Mercer Island is partnering again with the MI Chamber of Commerce and Bloodworks Northwest to host a 2-day blood drive in the Mercer Room at the Mercer Island Community & Event Center:

• Thursday Oct 1st from 10:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. 
• Friday Oct 2nd  from 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
