BAT Night | Clarke Beach

Join us for our last BAT Night of 2026! At this family friendly night of community science, you’ll learn all about our local bat populations and participate in the Bat Activity Trends (BAT) project. This community science program helps to track bat activities in parks across the region. Be prepared to explore the park just after sunset and help make counts on these fascinating flying friends!

No experience necessary. All ages welcome. Please note: we require participants aged 14 and under to volunteer with a parent or guardian at a ratio of 1 adult to 3 kids.

• When:  Tuesday, Sept 8^th, 7:30-8:30pm
• Where: Clarke Beach Park
• What to bring: Dress for the weather in comfortable clothes. Bring a water bottle and a headlamp. Small snacks will be provided.
