62^nd Street Trail Planting Event!

After many months of weed removal on the trail, we’re finally ready to plant native plants! We want to celebrate all the hard work that our Forest Steward Kerry and the community has put in create healthier habitat along the trail.

Join us as we plant plenty of native fruit bearing plants from thimbleberry to serviceberry.

No experience necessary; gloves and tools are provided.

When: Saturday, 24^th, 10am-1pm
Where: 62^nd Street Trail off of Island Crest Way, if driving you can park at the intersection of 84^th Ave SE and SE 62^nd st.
What to bring: Dress for the weather in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (think: long pants, boots or sneakers). Bring a water bottle. Small snacks, gloves, and tools will be provided.
