Restoration Event | Ellis Pond
Saturday, October 31, 2026 - 8:30am to 10:30am
Start your Halloween off right, volunteer in your local park!
It can be hard waiting all day for Halloween trick-or-treating to start! What better way to pass the time and get ready for all that candy you’ll be eating than to get some work done in your favorite local park! Forest Stewards are hosting a planting and mulching work party in Ellis Pond on Saturday, from 8:30-10:30am.
Join us for this spooky edition of our regular volunteer events! Feel free to dress up (in a costume you wouldn’t mind if it got a little bit dirty), we’ll have some candy to hand out, some native plants to put in the ground, it’s sure to be a fun morning all around.
- When: Saturday, October 31st, 8:30-10:30am
- Where: Ellis Pond, meet at the bench by the pond
- What to bring: Dress for the weather in comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty (maybe a costume if you’re feeling fun!) Gloves, tools, and snacks will be provided.
