• 66th Avenue SE, from SE 24th Street to SE 25th Street
• 71st Avenue SE, from SE 24th Street to 70th Avenue SE
• SE 46th and SE 47th Streets, from 84th Avenue SE to Island Crest Way
• 84th Avenue SE, from SE 46th Street to SE 47th Place
• 86th Avenue SE, from SE 46th Street to south end
• SE 47th Place, from 84th Avenue SE to east end

​Background

This annual program repairs and resurfaces residential streets through hot mix asphalt (HMA) overlays. Minor storm drainage repairs and minor water improvements will also be constructed in advance of the resurfacing. Utility work will be funded from the corresponding utility funds.

Description

This project covers two streets on the north end of the island (66^th Avenue SE and 71^st Avenue SE). This project also covers a neighborhood in the central portion of the island between Island Crest Way and West Mercer Way (SE 46^th Street, SE 47^th Street, SE 47^th Place, 84^th Avenue SE, and 86^th Avenue SE). The current pavement condition ratings are in the Poor to Very Poor range. Work will include some overlays and some full pavement reconstruction based on roadway structural condition.
