Background

This annual program repairs and resurfaces residential streets through hot mix asphalt (HMA) overlays. Minor storm drainage repairs and minor water improvements will also be constructed in advance of the resurfacing. Utility work will be funded from the corresponding utility funds.

Project Description

The residential streets of SE 80th and SE 82nd Streets in the neighborhood of Island Point and portions 78^th and 93^rd Avenues are planned for repaving. Also the intersection of 80^th Avenue SE and SE 28^th Street in the Town Center will receive an asphalt grind and overlay. These roadway PCI ratings are in the Fair to Very Poor range.
