Prospective Council Candidate Workshop

Are you interested in running for a seat on the City Council this year? The City is holding a virtual workshop for prospective Council candidates on April 15, by Zoom videoconference, from 5:00-6:30pm. To be eligible for City Council, you must be a resident for at least one year and registered to vote in Mercer Island. Candidates who meet these legal qualifications must file a Declaration of Candidacy with King County Elections within the official filing period, May 17-21.
