Pet First Aid Course

MIPD is pleased to offer this inagural Pet First Aid course to Mercer Island residents and businesses!

On February 21, 2026, MIPD Police Support Officer Scinkovec will host a pet first aid class for the Mercer Island community. Topics covered include: 

  • What to do in an emergency
  • Common Injuries, toxicities, CPR, Choking, Planning

Registration is required. 

Register early, this course is expected to fill quickly! 

Due to the popularity of this course, registration will be confirmed in the order they are received, so registration may not guarantee a seat in the class. You will receive confirmation from PSO Scinkovec prior to the course. 

No-Show Policy: To ensure maximum attendance for this popular class, a no-show without prior notification may affect your ability to register for future pet first aid courses. If you can no longer attend the course, contact PSO Scinkovec as soon as possible to allow the next person on the waitlist to attend.
