National Night Out 2026

National Night Out (NNO) is a community-building event in the United States, held the first Tuesday of August annually in cities across the country.

The event is designed to increase awareness about police programs like the Neighborhood Watch Program, Paws on Patrol, emergency preparedness, and other crime prevention and safety efforts.

Getting to know your neighbors is key to a safer and more resilient neighborhood and community. Simply host an event - BBQ, potluck, block party, hot dog eating contest, s'mores cookout - whatever fits your neighborhood, and get to know each other!
