Learn How to BioBlitz

City Nature Challenge is a global effort in which cities mobilize community science to share nature observations through bio blitzing. Bio blitzes are events that focus on finding and identifying as many species as possible from insects to plants, birds to algae.  Every year since 2018 the Seattle-Tacoma Metro Area has been joining in the fun, and so can you!

This year’s City Nature Challenge runs from April 24th- April 27th,  and on Friday 4/24 from 4:30-5:30pm, we will teach you all about the basics of Bio Blitzing, from how to use iNaturalist to suggestions on where and how to observe. All ages are welcome.
