Native Plant ID Walk

At our restoration events, we focus on creating healthier habitat, removing non-native weeds, and promoting native plant growth. The plants we care for have time-honored connections to the first peoples of this land.  In honor Indigenous People’s Day yesterday, we are leading a native plant identification walk. In this walk we will be sharing information about local plants with information adapted from the Snoqualmie Tribe native plant garden signs.

This will be a leisurely walk through the park. You can expect to learn about native plants and their roles in the larger ecosystem. We’ll also share some plant identification tips and tricks. If you’re curious about native plants, then please consider joining us!
