Dig the Dock at Mercerdale Park!

Join us for a Forest Steward led work party in Mercerdale Hillside. For this work party, volunteers will help to dig up broad-leave dock, a non-native plant that is spreading quickly along the trails in the Hillside. Removing the dock before it starts to flower will help to prevent the dock from spreading even more.

When: Saturday, May 9^th, 10am-12pm
Where: Mercerdale Hillside, a map will be provided for directions to the specific work site.
What to bring: Dress for the weather in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (think: long pants, boots or sneakers). Bring water. Small snacks, gloves, and tools will be provided.
