Restoration Event | Mulching in the Luther Burbank South Wetland

Thursday, April 13 | Join us in the Luther Burbank South Wetland!

Join us for an evening mulching event in the Luther Burbank South Wetland. We have many small native plants recently planted that could greatly benefit from adding mulch. Mulch is important for young plants as it provides water retention, weed suppression, and increases soil health as it breaks down. Come join us and spend time in the wetland and help protect our native plants!

• When: Thursday, April 13, 4pm-6pm
• Where: Luther Burbank South Parking Lot
• What to bring: Dress for the weather in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (think: long pants, boots or sneakers). Bring a water bottle. Small snacks, gloves, and tools will be provided.
