Mercer Island Police Department detectives have recently seen an increase in fraud-related reports affecting members of our community. To help residents recognize common scams and protect themselves from becoming victims, our detectives developed this fraud prevention infographic highlighting common warning signs, practical prevention tips, and steps to take if you believe you have been targeted. Fraud schemes continue to evolve, but staying informed is one of the best defenses.
