25-29 RFQ Lakeline Reach 1 Capacity Improvements Project

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS: RFQ No. 25-29
Notice is hereby given that the City of Mercer Island (City) is announcing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to solicit Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified engineering consultants to provide professional Design and Support Services for Lakeline Reach 1 Capacity Improvements Project. This is a complex, multi-year effort focused on identifying and addressing deficiencies within the City’s sewer lakeline system. Anticipated activities include data collection, planning, field reconnaissance, surveying, condition assessment, modeling and analysis, permitting, and design and engineering support for preliminary, small-scale, and full-scale construction efforts.

Statement of Qualifications with requirements, as outlined in the RFQ package, must be received, not sent, no later than 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 5, 2025. All SOQs will only be accepted via electronic transmission. Submit SOQ packets to: bids@mercerisland.gov with the email subject line clearly titled: “SOQ for Lakeline Reach 1 Capacity Improvements Design”.
Questions regarding the project may be directed to Chris Marks at chris.marks@mercerisland.gov. All questions must be received in writing prior to May 30, 2025 and responses will be posted on the City's Website.
The City of Mercer Island, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 23 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
