25-60 RFP - Pyrotechnic Contractor Services

Notice is hereby given that the City of Mercer Island (City) is announcing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified, licensed, and insured pyrotechnic contractors to design, supply, and execute a professional fireworks display for Mercer Island’s Summer Celebration on Saturday, July 11, 2026. Firework display will be from a barge on Lake Washington in front of Luther Burbank Park.

Proposals, as outlined in the RFP package, must be received, not sent, no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, December 19, 2025. All Proposals will only be accepted via electronic transmission. Submit packets to: katie.herzog@mercerisland.gov with the email subject line clearly titled: “Fireworks Proposal 2026”.
