Emergency Management Volunteer Exercise

Emergency Management Volunteers will be participating in their annual Volunteer Exercise on August 24, 2024.

Between 10am - 3pm, you may see volunteers in a uniform of neon yellow vests and yellow hats around Mercer Island. They will be traveling by car (displaying a yellow window flag) to various locations throughout the island. 

This exercise is to simulate a survey of structures, buildings, and areas after a major disaster.
