DSHS Mobile Office
Youth and Family Services (YFS) is partnering with the Departments of Social and Human Services (DSHS) to bring their Mobile Office to Mercer Island. The truck will be visiting Mercer Island on October 1, 2025 from 1-4PM and will be parked in the MICEC parking lot next to the free Hopelink mobile food market.
The truck is wheelchair accessible and provides hearing-impaired access and language interpretation services. The mobile office increases community access to state and federal programs and provides consultation to individuals, seniors, and families to identify need and program eligibility; including SNAP/EBT food assistance (day of approval and card provided), reduced or free ORCA cards (day of approval and card provided), and initial application for multiple programs. This is a drop-in, first come first-serve service with no appointments needed.
