Forum participants will:

• Explore how parent & youth behavior and health choices set youth up for success as young adults.

• Learn about recent research findings on youth substance use and the impact on mental health.

• Students will have the opportunity to share their perspective on being a teen in today’s world.

• Connect, learn, and come together to support Island youth wellbeing!

Featuring keynote speaker, Dr. Jason Kilmer, UW Professor, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science. 
It Takes An Island, Yet Bridges Are Important Too: The Role of Parents & Community in Youth Wellbeing

Students (grades 6-12), parents (of children of all ages), educators, and community members are invited. Anyone interested in the health and wellbeing of Mercer Island youth is welcome!
