26-03 - RFQ - Design Services for 2026 Water System Improvements

Notice is hereby given that the City of Mercer Island (City) is announcing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to solicit Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified engineering consultants to provide professional Design Services for 2026 Water System Improvements. Three segments of water main along 82nd Ave SE, Forest Ave SE, and West Mercer Pl were installed roughly 65 years ago and have recently suffered multiple breaks. To prevent further damage, we will be replacing the water mains, hydrants, meters, and one PRV station in the areas.

Statement of Qualifications with requirements, as outlined in the RFQ package, must be received, not sent, no later than 4:00 PM (PST) on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. All SOQs will only be accepted via electronic transmission. Submit SOQ packets to: bids@mercerisland.gov with the email subject line clearly titled: “SOQ for 2026 Water System Improvements”.
