Caregiver Support Group
The Caregiver Support Group (formerly known as the Senior Support Group) is a free support group for spouses and partners of those with dementia. Group meetings will be held on the following dates from 10:30am to noon at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center: 1/28, 2/25, 3/25, 4/22, 5/27, 6/17, 7/22, 8/26, 9/23, 10/28, 11/18, 12/16
The group is facilitated by long-time Mercer Island resident Carin Mack, MSW. Carin is a retired geriatric social worker with 40 years of experience, most recently as the Director of the Memory Loss Program at Greenwood Senior Center. Carin is supported by YFS staff.
