The City of Mercer Island is requesting bid proposals from qualified contractors to provide mobilization, cleanup and demobilization, handling of existing flows, cleaning and preparation of surfaces, removal and patching of loose and/or unsound material, repair of inverts, bench, and walls, chemical grout sealing of sewer manhole cone, walls, sump, bench, inverts, holes, and pipe connections, and application of a cementitious interior liner at one (1) special catch basin manhole located at 4266 E Mercer Way.

The selected contractor will be required to meet and agree to all the conditions in the Invitation to Bid (ITB), as well as the Required Bid Forms, EXHIBIT “A”, the SAMPLE Contract Documents, EXHIBIT “B”, the City’s General Terms and Conditions, EXHIBIT “C”, and Contract Technical Specifications, EXHIBIT “D”.

The purpose is to establish, through a competitive bidding process utilizing the MRSC Small Works Roster, a contract to perform the work described. In addition to the requirements of the ITB and attached exhibits, contractors must be registered on the MRSC Roster to be eligible to bid. To sign up or learn more, visit https://mrscrosters.org/.

All interested bidders shall submit the required bid forms electronically to chris.marks@mercerisland.gov no later than 2:00PM, June 29, 2023, to be eligible. All submittals shall be clearly titled: “BID PROPOSAL – SPECIAL CATCH BASIN MH 40-2 REHABILITATION”.
